Coconut Wadi (Burfi)

Ingredients:
- Grated Coconut - 2 Cups
- Whole Milk - 1 Cup
- Sugar – 1 Cup
- Mango Juice – 1 Cup (Optional)
- Cardamom powder – ½ tsp
- Cashews – ¼ cup
- Pistachios – ¼ cup
- Rose color (optional) – 1-2 tbsp
Procedure :
- Mix coconut, milk and sugar in a thick bottom pan.
- Put the pan on medium heat and keep continuously stirring the mix.
- Add mango juice and cashews when it gets thicker and keep stirring.
- Take off the flame when the moisture evaporates and the mix becomes thick.
- Add cardamom powder and mix well.
- Grease a flat plate with ghee or butter and flatten the mix over it.
- Cut the wadi using a knife and decorate with pistachios or rose color.
